Thank you to all at the EGHI for making this experience possible and welcoming us so warmly in Atlanta.

It was such an honor to be welcomed by the President of Emory University! The program and facilities here have been amazing.

Meeting future and current leaders in global health was incredibly inspiring, and the experience enhanced my critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

This competition not only honed my skills but also highlighted the importance of teamwork and the value of diverse perspectives in problem-solving.

There is something exciting about being able to utilize the skills you've learned in the classroom to address pressing, real-world situations.

The competition also allowed me to connect with healthcare professionals worldwide…. This exchange of knowledge was truly enriching.

I grabbed the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and learned so much through the process. I am extremely proud of myself, and I look forward to more opportunities to work collaboratively on global health projects in the future!

Judges and Case Advisors Reflect on the Competition

Experts from multiple disciplines volunteer as judges and enthusiastically support the annual competition.

It was inspiring to see the incredible talent and creativity of the multidisciplinary student teams to solve complex global health challenges - our future is bright!!

It’s hard to judge one team against another. There is consistency of talent across the teams, and the hard part is how to pick the winners when every team that comes here is a winner… and to watch them compete, the level at which they present, it’s incredible.”

Case advisors are typically unseen but crucial mentors for the student participants.

It was a pleasure to work as a Case Advisor…. I saw firsthand innovation and speed at its peak working with this team of young talents.

As the Student Case Advisor, I had the exciting role of training and mentoring the … team in preparing for this competition.… I witnessed their incredible collaboration and growth as teammates and future public health leaders.

Highly endorse the #EmoryMorningsideCC hosted by @emoryghi…. It’s truly such an incredible applied learning opportunity.
