Emily Weil

Student Programs Coordinator

Emily Weil is the Emory Global Health Institute’s Student Programs Coordinator. In this role, she works closely with the Director of Student Programs assisting with the planning, development, and implementation of student programs for EGHI. Ms. Weil also works the Student Advisory Committee leadership, and Student Programming Leaders across the University by collaborating on innovative ways to engage Emory students on the work of EGHI and global health in general.

Prior to joining EGHI, Ms. Weil was the Assistant Director of Curriculum, Accreditation, & Registration Management at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing. In that role, she was responsible for providing leadership, direction, and organization of curriculum management for all degree programs within the School of Nursing. She also led the planning and development of three new degree programs, and was responsible for national and regional accreditation documents and university reporting.

Ms. Weil received her Bachelor of Arts from Appalachian State University in Communications. She also has a certificate in Human Resources Management where she focused on coaching, training, and strategic communications.
